Why I think a little bit of spontaneity in life can be very good for you

Ever get that stuck feeling? So many choices but not sure which way to go? I do. All the time. The paradox of choice. Not a bad problem to have for sure, but procrastination really messes the brain up and I’m now 100% sure that overthinking in whatever form causes unhappiness.Anyway, I decided to take a quick flight to Munich to see a friend and shake myself up.

It’s pretty here, if a little bit cold, but I love the snow and mountains and more importantly, the change of scenery seems to have done the trick and I have created some headspace to think about a few things that link to what I want to do next in life.

Not exactly rocket science, but sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference and of course you don’t need to book a flight to another country and fly out the next day even though that’s quite a fun way to do it. I think it’s more to do with the short-sharp-shock of a change that is not overthought, over-planned, or over analysed.

Instead you just choose, commit, and do it. (Or maybe it’s the eine Mass of dunkles Bier).

Totally recommend Munich as a place to visit as well. Super chilled, friendly people, and very very pretty !
