Seven years ago, I left a twenty-one-year corporate career and began a journey that led me through Europe and Morocco in a twenty-year-old campervan; backpacking right across South Africa; trekking up into the Himalayan mountains, and exploring the busy streets of India.
Along the way, I created a blog about the adventure, which I then turned into a book. That may be a cliché, but I wanted to capture my journey and share out what it was like – the good and the bad, as well as some of what I’d learnt along the way. You can find more about that by clicking here.
In 2018, I set up a landscaping and garden business. I design and build bespoke projects for customers, as well as carry out general maintenance. My background is engineering, project planning, and learning and development, and many skills transfer across. You can view examples of projects on this website by clicking here. And on my Facebook page by clicking here.
I also work as a travel writer. As well as various articles I’ve had published, in September 2021 I established a monthly column for the UK’s biggest motorhome and campervan magazine (MMM). I enjoy sharing my adventures and this column is a great platform to do so.
