Adventures in Happiness — the book

In 2015, after two decades in an engineering organisation, I took a sabbatical and travelled. Adventures in Happiness is the honest account of what that was actually like — the good, the uncertain, and the parts that don’t make it onto Instagram.

It was featured in the Derby Telegraph, I did two BBC radio interviews about it, and it was listed by The Outdoor Adventure Blog as one of the best adventure books you can give. Eight years later it’s still selling.

The Derby Telegraph published an article on my adventure and book.  This was shown online and in the daily paper.

I have been on BBC radio for two interviews to discuss my book. 

I have also been featured within ‘The Outdoor Adventure Blog’ as a person of adventure. The same organisation then listed my book as one of 15 books that make better fathers day gifts than socks!
