The last few days have been a lot of driving but I’ve still managed to squeeze in a little exploration. 😀. First, a showing of The Diary of Anne Frank - in French, at the Lausanne theatre; a quick look at the collection d’art Brut (outsider art) and lakeside (beautiful); and then an evening at Colmar Xmas market (gluëvin 🍷 🌲). Salut to long night moon. Right now, the orbit plane of the moon to the earth is almost in line with the orbit plane of the earth to the sun. What does that mean...the sun’s low, the moon is high, and the sky is bright at night. 🌕. From windswept beaches of Hyères, deep valley gorges of Provence, and tech cities like Grenoble at the foothills of the Alps, Europe’s definitely got diversity. And I’ve not even mentioned the apricot croissants, alpine army, quirky coffee shops, and theatre by the lake I chanced upon last night after a 4-hour drive. In all honesty, I feel very grateful to be able to travel and experience life like this. This hasn’t been the easiest adventure at times, but perhaps that’s how it’s meant to be all along 🤔. One or two stops left to break the journey up and it’s home to the family for Christmas in the 🇬🇧.
